Meet our founder and MD –
Michelle Peters

I’ve worked in the cleaning service industry for 23 years as a company director, and have a great deal of experience and knowledge to offer our clients.

I strongly believe all commercial cleaning services can use products that don’t harm the environment, and still be cost-effective and high quality. So following extensive research, I set up Paragon on environmentally responsible foundations. And I knew that, by providing greener cleaning services, I could help my clients achieve their environmental goals too.

Our people

When we recruit, we look for enthusiasm and a positive attitude as well as experience and good references. It’s important our staff are happy in their work and the job is right for them, because that means they’ll provide the service we’ve promised you.

All Paragon staff go through a thorough recruitment process before they join us to make sure they are trustworthy, reliable and understand our ethos.

Whenever we can, we recruit people who are local to our clients. Not only does this create jobs in the community, it also contributes to reducing our carbon footprint as they can walk, cycle, or take public transport to work.

We pay our staff above the minimum wage, which brings consistency and reliability to us and to our clients.

Training and monitoring

All staff receive training on products as well as health and safety. On-site training makes sure they know the layout of your building, and exactly what you need them to do.

Our cleaners are supported by a team manager who will visit your premises regularly to check all aspects of your cleaning programme. They discuss their findings with the cleaners as part of our quality control and on-going training systems. And of course, they’ll want to talk to you to make sure you’re happy with our work.

We are TUPE compliant, and will help if staff transfer to us from your current cleaning company.

Environmentally responsible cleaning

A great deal of research has gone into our cleaning methods to make sure they are environmentally responsible. We’ve sourced the greenest products and equipment on the market from suppliers who are ecologically and environmentally accredited. For example, our vacuums are fitted with filters to provide a cleaner workspace by reducing the effects of allergens.

We work around you

Our teams can visit early mornings before you start, late evening, or over the weekend – whatever causes least disruption for you, your staff, and your visitors.

You don’t need to book us every day: we can come weekly, fortnightly, or once a month. We’re happy to do one-off cleaning projects too: before or after an event, or following maintenance work.

Quality control

We have regular meetings with all clients to make sure they are happy with our service, and email client satisfaction surveys every six months. Once we’ve reviewed the results, we take necessary action or implement changes.

For residential block management contracts, we’ll attend resident association meetings, to hear their opinions on the level of service they receive from us.
